WHAT IS THE BERT AMATEUR RADIO AUXILIARY?

The BERT Amateur Radio Auxiliary is a cadre of licensed active Amateur Radio Operators in the City of Benicia volunteering their equipment and services to provide emergency communications within, and in direct support of their immediate neighborhood, in the event of a significant emergency.

The BERT Amateur Radio Auxiliary is organized in conjunction with the Benicia Citizen Corps Council and the Benicia Fire Department.

Activate and test your Amateur Radio equipment during the monthly Siren Tests at 11:00 AM local time on the first Wednesday of the month. Please check in on 442.750 MHZ (PL 100 Hz), when you hear the siren.
