"Ham Radio in your own neighborhood."

WHAT COMMITMENT IS REQUIRED?

Following a natural disaster or other emergency it is primary for you to provide for the safety of yourself, your family and your home. We are asking for your services only once conditions within your own lives are safe and secure. Your commitment at that point is secondary and basically a promise to make your equipment and services available within your immediate neighborhood.

Additionally we ask that you keep your radio equipment in good repair and tested regularly. Remember to keep rechargeable batteries "cycled" and charged.

Activate and test your Amateur Radio equipment during the monthly Siren Tests at 11:00 AM local time on the first Wednesday of the month. Please check in on 442.750 MHZ (PL 100 Hz), when you hear the siren.
